As Kristin Chenoweth so eloquently puts it, “We sing because we can’t speak anymore.” Singing is a powerful expression of storytelling that expresses more than words alone can, and we all have a unique story to tell.

I believe everyone is built with the capability of singing a variety of styles! I am passionate about helping people of all ages access the beautiful, versatile, finessed voice that is within them!

Fun Facts:

• Singing brought me out of my shell at age 11.

• I began singing with a more classical approach, then fell in love with the pop technique. I’m grateful to have experience with both!

• Until my early 20’s, I dealt with severe seasonal allergies and a compromised lung capacity. Through personal experience and advice from a variety of professionals, I picked up a lot of tips for taking care of the voice in difficult circumstances.

• I’m all about helping singers be as versatile as they want to be in regards to style. There is no reason to trap oneself in a box!

My Singing Story/Why I Love Teaching:
In my singing journey, by the grace of God, I’ve overcome a host of physical and mental obstacles. I’ve been questioned about my desire to keep singing, and told that I would never achieve the sound I wanted to. Looking back on this, I see how limited I felt after hearing this statement, and for a while I accepted it as reality. But something in me couldn’t shake the feeling that I had more inside of me to give, I just had to learn how to access it. 

It turns out that I was not limited like I thought- what I needed was a mental “toolbox” that I could pull from of concepts that made sense to me. And once I began to work with the right tools, I experienced tremendous vocal growth! 

Because of this journey, I have a deep level of empathy for the process. I want to create a safe space for singers to discover the fullness of the instrument inside them. My heart is for you to experience freedom of expression through singing. I want to come alongside you in your singing journey to help you feel encouraged, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to unlock your full singing potential!
